Important Notice

The state of Tennessee requires that all non-profit organizations update their tax exempt forms at once - this should have been completed this past summer. All non-profit organizations were notified via mail by the state of Tennessee several months ago. If your Pack or Troop has not updated your form, effective November 1, we must charge your organization tax to be in compliance with the state's legal requirements.

To print the form go to: www.tn.gov/revenue . After the Website display, click on " State taxes". On the next page, click on "sales and use tax". Finally, click on "application for non-profit".
Print this form, fill it out completely, and send it in to the address at the bottom of the second page. Keep copies of all documents you send in.
After you send your form in to the state you will receive a certificate. Send us a copy of that certificate. You will then be given tax exempt status.
