Our local Council has embarked on a Capital Campaign entitled "A Tradition That Endures". This effort has a main areas of emphasis - to remodel and expand the Council Service Center.
The new Service Center will have an "Eagle Walk" where you can make your mark and help build the future of Scouting. Along the walk, bricks created with the art of brick relief carving will display the names of Eagle Scouts, along with their troop numbers and the dates they earned the rank of Eagle. This process was used over 2,000 years ago by King Nebuchadnezzar as he rebuilt Babylon; thousands of years later the brick relief carvings are still visible.
Just as bricks lay a foundation, Eagle Scouts and their friends and families can lay the foundation for future generations of young people to join the fun and adventure of Scouting.
