Long Rifle Recipients
Elk River District congratulates its 2008 Long Rifle Award recipients, Michael Sharp (Cubmaster Pack 390), Darrol Payne (Scoutmaster Troop 332), Karl Nation (Asst Scoutmaster Troop 314), and Dr. John Petty (District Activities & Civic Community Chair). Joe Fergus, 55 year Veteran, presided as Long Rifle Chairman accompanied by presenters Susan Russell, Bill Myers, Steve Leet, Lance Baxter.

Welcome Aboard New District Commissioner
Bill Morgan, Cubmaster and prior District Training Chairman accepts the challenge as the Elk River District Commissioner. He will be looking to fill the Commissioner staff with much needed Unit Commissioners to increase service to units. If he's looking for you, please call him at 931-723-1667.

District Roundtable Attendance Award
Congratulations to those units with regular representation at monthly Roundtables. The following Packs and Troops were recognized at the District's Award Banquet: Bronze Award - Pack 282, 332 and Troop 185 & 336; Gold Award - Pack 245, 303, 358, 391 & 476 and Troop 370 & 323; Silver Award - Pack 142, 304, 314, 336, 360, 365 & 467 and Troop 158, 184, 314, 332, 391 & 402. Come join us in 2008 every 2nd Thursday at the First Christian Church in Tullahoma, where leaders will also be recognized for individual achievements with the new Roundtable Rounder Instant Recognition.
