Spring Recruitment
Every fall, our Exploring Posts launch campaigns to find new prospective Explorers and invite them to join their post. This a great system and we certainly don't want to stop our fall recruitment efforts, many young people look at Exploring as a great supplement to their school year plans. However, there are many young people we miss each fall who would love to get involved this spring!
So, how do we find these energetic teens and include them in your spring plans?

Exploring Open House
Host an open house to showcase what you've accomplished this year and to invite new youth to join in the fun this spring and all through next year. This doesn't have to be a huge production, keep it simple and let your current Explorers invite their friends to check out everything they get to do in Exploring.

Publicity or Promotion
Now is a great time to let your local paper or school papers know about all the fantastic things your Explorers have been working on this year. A little well timed publicity can definitely spark some major interest in your post.

Personal Contact
Your current Explorers are your best advertising. Ask them to invite their friends and classmates to check out your post and join in on the fun and learning for the upcoming year. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us and make sure you let us know what you're up to so we can help. We'd love to visit your meetings or open houses and are very committed to making your post successful all year long!
