Lock In Cub Scout Lock In this year was great! People have come to expect a great Cub Scout program from our Lock In event, and this year did not disapoint. We had 180 boys that attended which is an all time record. There was Pizza, Legos, a Movie, Pizza, Games, Investigative Skills, Pizza, and more! Thanks Amy for a great event!
Summertime Pack Awards I hope all Packs are planning to receive the Summertime Pack Award. Its fun, provides Pack continuity, and is easy! You only have to have 3 Pack events throughout the summer to earn it. Are you promoting Day Camp? Thats one. How about a nice picnic? Thats two. You could organize a trip to the County Fair, or have a pool party. Having a summer program will keep your Scouts interested and keep boys in your Pack longer. Please plan your summertime programs now!
Camps-Day, Resident, Summer 'Tis the season to go camping! Day Camp is where your Cubs will experience the outrageous "Scouts in Space" theme. Your boys want to shoot bb guns and arrows. If you don't send them to Day Camp, they may not have that opportunity. Why isn't every boy in your Pack going? You know they want to...
Resident camps for your Cubs and Webleos at Boxwell Scout Reservation will keep your boys begging for more. 99% of boys join Scouts to go camping. Don't let those guys down! We will teach them how to be outdoors, have fun, and be safe. Take everyone camping this summer.
You Boy Scouts are already set to go to Summer Camp I am sure. Wow what an experience! I won't be on staff this year; and I will miss it. The last two years have been a blast. I'll come visit though, don't worry about that. Be sure to get those new boys to go, don't let them not experience a real Boxwell Campfire!
