The 100th Anniversary Council Jamboree will take place for September 24-26, 2021 at Boxwell Scout Reservation. You don’t want to miss this once in a lifetime experience. Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA and Venturers are invited to come join in the fun activities and the midway featuring displays and booths from the military, community groups and others. Camping will be located throughout the property with most of the events taking place around Camp Stahlman. You will not want to miss the museum that will showcase historical documents, patches, videos, Scouting memorabilia, news articles and photographs that capture Scouting in the Middle Tennessee from 1920 -2021.

Participants will enjoy separate (one for Cub Scouts and one for Scouts BSA/Venturers) exciting fun packed arena shows on Saturday evening at the amphitheater.

What is a Council Jamboree?

A council Jamboree is a weekend camping adventure for Cub Scouts, Parents, Scout BSA and Venturers. The   weekend consists of camping, activities, and special programs. These happen every four to six years within the Middle Tennessee Council. They are designed to look like a National or World Jamboree presented by the BSA organization.

Who can Participate?

All registered Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturers and Adult Leaders. Parents and siblings are welcome to come join in the fun of the Jamboree. Please note that activities at the Jamboree are for registered Scouts. Siblings may participate if the activity has available participation space.

What will camping be like at the Jamboree?

Camping at the Jamboree will be by Pack, Troop and Crew. Each area will have designated space for your unit based on the information provided on the registration form. Please be sure to indicate space needed.

How is the food handled at a Jamboree?

Each pack, troop and crew will be responsible for their own food for the weekend. This also includes all individual parent/scout combinations attending the Jamboree. On Saturday for lunch and until they run out we will have numerous food trucks from the Nashville Area Food Truck Association setup on the road from Stahlman Dining Hall to Stahlman Trading Post. Remember this when planning, you just might find what you are looking to eat at lunch.

Will there be a Trading Post at Jamboree?

There is a pre-order form available in the Leaders Guide for the Jamboree. The onsite trading post will offer Jamboree t-shirts, caps, along with many other collectibles, assorted camping supplies and other fun items. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted.

What if our Pack, Troop or Crew wanted to set up a demonstration at the Jamboree?

Unit demonstration stations are welcome and have been critical to the success of past Jamborees. These provide an excellent opportunity for the unit to showcase their specialties. Please indicate on the registration form your desire to have a booth either in the activity area or your campsite. Show your Stuff!

Does the Jamboree need Staff Members?

Our Jamboree Chairman, David Garrett, has assembled a great group of volunteers to serve in the leadership roles of the Jamboree. However, to ensure that the Jamboree is safe and fun for everyone it will take 100 plus volunteers to support the Jamboree. These areas include Medical, Commissioners, Logistics. Trading Post, traffic and security and who knows what else.  Staff Cost is $15.00.
